The investigation took three months and led police to four pounds of meth, 45 guns and $20,000 in cash. Those six suspects were charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Deputy U.S. Attorney Brad Blackington told WISH-TV’s sister station WTHI that multiple agencies spent three months compiling information and tracking large amounts of meth across state lines.

“In this case the drugs were coming in from Arizona to Indianapolis,” Blackington explained. “From Indianapolis, they were going to Bruceville and Vincennes and then across the river into Illinois. So it was a pretty widespread network, so a lot of agencies got involved.”

Investigators arrested Shevockus Swing, Jason Davis, James Western, Donta Henderson, Justin Swain and Tammy Gillispie.

Police are still searching for fugitive Julius Weldon.

Blackington says all seven suspects used UPS and FedEx to transfer the drugs from Arizona to Indianapolis and then to Knox County and Lawrenceville, Illinois.

Blackington says more charges will be filed.
