Company to donate 3,000 pounds of food to local food bank
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One local business will donate $22,000 and also 3,000 pounds of food to an area food bank on Tuesday.
The donation comes after Crew Carwash held a one-day food drive on Oct. 10.
The community was encouraged to make a donation of either a canned food item or if possible, a cash donation.
Gleaners Food Bank will be the recipient of the food and money raised as a result of the one-day food drive.
This was the first partnership between the two organizations.
