INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The driver involved in a tragic crash that claimed the lives of an Indianapolis principal and two children earlier this month has died.

The Marion County Coroner confirmed 80-year-old Jack Reed’s death on Tuesday.

Police say Reed’s SUV ran a red light on Oct. 6, crashing into Norris Ncube’s car. They believe Reed may have suffered a medical condition. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition after the crash.

Norris Ncube died at the scene. His niece, Malia Siziba, and son, Joshua Ncube later died from their injuries.

They were laid to rest Sunday.
