BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – One man is in the Bartholomew County Jail following a Monday morning traffic stop.
According to police, a blue Chevy Beretta was pulled over just after 12:30 a.m. Monday after the owner of the vehicle was suspected of having a suspended license.
During the course of the traffic stop, police did find that the driver, Seth Chelf, was, in fact, driving on a suspended license.
According to police, the officer later found a set of digital scales and a zippered eye wear with 3 needles and a spoon with some kind a substance on it.
Also, found on under the driver’s seat was bag with a powdery, rocky substance.
A K9 officer was also on scene and assisted with the search.
Chelf was then transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where he remains. He faces several charges including possession of heroin and paraphernalia.
His bail has been set at $17,500.
