Home destroyed after early morning fire in Clay County

BOWLING GREEN, Ind. (WTHI) – Crews responded to an early morning fire in Clay County that seems to have destroyed an entire home.

Officials were still working to put out hotspots around 7:30 a.m.

Officials report the fire started before 5:30 a.m. at 7863 East Division Road; north of State Road 46 in Bowling Green.

At this time there is no word on injuries but Clay County Central Dispatch did state the house was empty at the time of the fire.
