LEXINGTON, Ky. (WISH) – A Kentucky fraternity that made headlines for a Taylor Swift lip sync to the popular song “Shake it Off” is giving back.

The Transylvania University group’s video got the singer’s attention last year. After the video flooded social media Swift promised the students tickets to her concert in Lexington – which was this week.

Instead of taking dates the students gave the extra tickets to the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

“We all got two tickets and we thought, this is just a gift and would be a shame to not do something good with it,” said Barton Lynch, Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.

The 37 fraternity brothers were joined by 37 little brothers and sisters.

“These kids come from different areas and walks of life, so they had this opportunity that they might never have again,” said Lynch.
