INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indiana Historical Society is hosting a discussion on Thursday about Indiana’s LGBT history.

The Pride in History event is dedicated to how museums explore the topic of LGBT history.

Author Dr. SusaIn Feretinos and Suzanne Hahn with the Indiana Historical Society stopped by the WISH-TV studio to talk about the event.

During the event you can learn more about Indiana’s LGBT history from Dr. Ferentinos’ book “Interpreting LGBT History at Museums and Historic Sites.”

“Accurate telling of the past can build a bridge of understanding between contemporary debates and the historical context needed to understand them,” said Dr. Ferentinos.

The event will be at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center at 450 W. Ohio Street from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
