INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The city election and the race for Indianapolis mayor is less than two weeks away, and on Saturday, we got an early look at what voter turnout might look like in Marion County.
The election board says early voting numbers have dropped 45 percent this year compared to the last city election, in 2011.
The number of requests for absentee ballots is down 48 percent during the same period.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is by midnight Oct. 26.
Early voting ends at noon Nov. 2.
