1 shot, 3 hit by vehicles on north side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man was shot in the head and at least three others were hit by vehicles on the north side of the city Sunday afternoon, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. at the Creekwood Apartments in the 2100 block of Amerherst Drive.

Police say there was a disturbance at the apartment complex when shots were fired. One person was shot and three others were attempting to flee when they were hit by a vehicle, according to IMPD.

The man shot in the head is reportedly in stable condition.

Of the three hit by the vehicle, one victim is in critical condition. Another one suffered a serious leg injury and the third was treated and released at the scene.

None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, according to IMPD.

All of the victims transported were taken to St. Vincent Hospital.

No arrests have been made.
