KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) — There’s a special ceremony happening Friday night in Kokomo to remember those who lost their lives from drugs and alcohol.

The Take Back Our Streets walk will begin with a lighting ceremony in front of the Kokomo Court House. People who have lost a loved one to drugs or alcohol are invited to attend and memorialize them.

Friday’s ceremony is being organized by the Cornerstone Christian Center in Kokomo. It starts at 6 p.m.

Nathan Harmon, an organizer for “Take Back Our Streets,” was on 24-Hour News 8 at noon Thursday to talk more about the ceremony.
