INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Church members planned to gather at The Movie Theater Church Thursday to pray for those who were hurt during a shooting at Washington Square Mall.

The church opened at 9 a.m. Pastor Ethan said that the church had no previous events planned for Thursday, but after what happened on Wednesday night they have decided to open their doors for the community and those directly involved in the shooting.

On Wednesday just before 6:30 p.m. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer responded to the report of several people shot at the Washington Square Mall. Police confirmed that three people, two men and a woman, were shot inside the mall. They were in stable condition at last check.

Police said on Thursday that a fourth person was hurt, but they would not release what their injury was.

According to IMPD, the incident started as an argument between two people who knew each other.

The shooter was reportedly targeting a male victim, and the two other victims are believed to have been innocent bystanders.

IMPD said the suspect fled the mall and was still on the loose Thursday morning.
