Clabber Girl looking for recipes dedicated to Indy 500, IMS events
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WISH) – Clabber Girl is coming out with a special cookbook dedicated to the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Megan Pence the Executive Director of Marketing & Public Relations for Clabber Girl joined 24-Hour News 8 to explain more.
Clabber Girl said they are creating the cookbook to commemorate the milestone. There will be items that reflect and tie into IMS’ long-standing tradition.
The book will be titled “Brickyard to Backyard: Remembering Recipes from Race Days Past.” Inside there will be recipes for barbecuing, at-home race viewing parties, and/or picnicking.
To be considered for a recipe in the book applications must include the following:
- Your name, home mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- The recipe name, ingredient list, preparation, instructions and yield.
- Your favorite Indianapolis 500 and/or IMS memory summarized in 150 words or less.
- A personal photograph related to the Indianapolis 500 and/or IMS.
