Two wanted after chase, crash on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is looking for two suspects following a pursuit and crash on the city’s northeast side.

According to IMPD, an officer pulled over a stolen vehicle near 36th Street and Adams Street just before 5:30 p.m.

IMPD said the vehicle fled, ran a stop sign and crashed into a van. The van flipped and landed back on its wheels. The driver of the van was not injured.

Three people inside the stolen vehicle fled the scene. The IMPD officer caught the driver but the other two subjects are still at large. The driver was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital with minor injuries.

Police said narcotics and paraphernalia were found inside of the suspect vehicle.
