Pedestrian struck on East 42nd, in critical condition
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – According to police, one man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle.
Police say the individual who was hit was laying in the road at the time.
The incident occurred in the 8700 block of East 42nd Street just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
The driver of the vehicle did stay on scene. However, police say the driver did fail a sobriety field test and was arrested.
The man hit by the car was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
