After heated battle, Kitchell beats Franklin in Logansport mayoral race
CASS COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – After a heated mayoral race in Logansport, Democrat Dave Kitchell beats the incumbent – Republican Mayor Ted Franklin.
Kitchell defeats Franklin by an unofficial vote of 1,835 to 1,148 or 62 percent of the vote.
During the campaign, both sides got heated after Franklin launched a commercial ad attacking Kitchell for not paying his property taxes on time. Kitchell replied by saying there was no truth to the ad’s allegations.
