Video: Kumbali the cheetah and Kago, his puppy pal, meet African penguins

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Millions of people have watched Kumbali the cheetah and Kago the puppy play in videos released by the Metro Richmond Zoo.

“When Metro Richmond Zoo released the original video telling the story of Kumbali and Kago, we had no idea they would become international internet sensations,” the zoo said in a press release. “Media requests have come in from all over the world.”

Because of their popularity, zoo officials sent the video of the pair meeting African penguins for the first time.

“Our hope is that these videos will provide enjoyment as well as educational information and promote conservation,” zoo officials said.
