Monumental Marathon prompts street closures Saturday morning
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 8th running of the Monumental Marathon begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, and Indianapolis streets will be restricted as runners make their way through the city.
For the 4th year in a row the race is sold out, so the streets will be filled with runners for most of the morning.
Below is the marathon route map so drivers can avoid blocked streets. The city will close and open streets in waves as runners clear the areas. See the color-coded times below.
