INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Mayor-elect Joe Hogsett has announced the names of several individuals who will be apart of his transition team.

Joining Hogsett’s transition team in leadership positions includes current Indianapolis Congressman Andre Carson and former Lieutenant Governor Kathy Davis.

Carson and Davis will work as co-chairs on the team as leadership in the Mayor’s Office changes in the coming months.

Also apart of the team is Indy Chamber President, Michael Huber, who will serve as an additional co-chair.

The recently elected mayor of Indianapolis says the experience and knowledge of his transition team co-chairs will serve the city well.

“Indianapolis deserves an administration that is forward-thinking and reflects the rich diversity of our city, and I am honored to have transition co-chairs who are up to that important task,” Hogsett said.

Democrat Joe Hogsett defeated Republican Chuck Brewer in Tuesday’s election.
