State marching band competition at Lucas Oil

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Downtown Indianapolis was filled with the sounds of competition on Saturday.

There were 41 marching bands from around the state that competed in the state finals at Lucas Oil stadium.

In the B-Class, Greenwood placed second and Bloomington High School North placed ninth.

The state’s largest schools are competed later in the evening in the A-Class and Carmel finished second, Lawrence Central was sixth, Center Grove finished eighth and Ben Davis finished ninth.
