Man gets 20 years in 2014 home invasion

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One of four people charged in a Feb. 2014 home invasion has been sentenced in the case.

Anthony Breeden was arrested after the crime that took place on LaSalle Street. Officials say a woman was beaten and sexually assaulted in a home while Breeden and another man stole several items inside the house.

Breeden was initially charged with burglary, robbery, criminal confinement and battery in the case.

According to online court records, Breeden was sentenced to 20 years on Wednesday. He will serve 12 years in the Indiana Department of Correction, three years work release and two years of probation after a plea agreement.
