Columbus man arrested for child porn possession
COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — A Columbus man was arrested Thursday and preliminary charged with possessing child pornography, Indiana State Police announced Friday.
Matthew M. Jones, 24, was arrested at his home in the 600 block of Fairview Drive.
ISP detectives reportedly received a tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children cyber tip line that led to the arrest.
A forensic investigation on electronic equipment at the home resulted in Jones being preliminary charged with possession of child pornography, a level six felony.
