Facebook offers safety check for those in Paris

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Facebook is making it easy for people to check on their loved ones who were in Paris during the deadly attacks.

Safety Check allows users who are in the affected area to mark themselves as safe. It also allows users to see if anyone on their friends list is in the affected area, and if they are safe.
