Americans open homes to French travelers stranded in the U.S.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Americans have opened their hearts and homes to French travelers who are stuck in the states after France closed its borders in response to Friday’s terror attack.

Social media users are sharing the hashtag #strandedInUS to reach out to any stranded travelers in their area.

Several users in Columbus and the surrounding area have reached out, but so far there are no reports of anyone taking the offer.

The death toll in Paris reached 127 by Saturday morning, making Friday’s attack the deadliest on French soil since World War II.
