IMPD: Man takes cash, cigarettes in west side armed robbery

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a west side armed robbery that happened late Sunday night.

Officers responded to the Circle K, located at West Washington Street and South High School Road, around 11:50 p.m.

According to police, the male suspect, who was armed with a silver revolver, got away with money and cigarettes. No one was injured.

Police say the man was wearing a black zip-up hoodie with white lettering on the back and possibly glasses.
