DENVER (WISH) — Good news for Peyton Manning was almost immediately followed by some bad news.

On Sunday, Manning broke Brett Favre’s NFL record for most career passing yards during the Denver Broncos’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

A league source told ESPN Monday morning that Manning has a partially torn plantar fascia in his right foot.

The source said Manning has had plantar fasciitis for weeks but likely aggravated the injury in Indianapolis on Nov. 8, resulting in a partial tear of his plantar fascia.

It’s unclear how long, if at all, Manning could be sidelined by the injury.
