Colts celebrate Fan Appreciation Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Colts took time Tuesday afternoon to say “thank you” to their fans.

The team held a fan appreciation day to give back to the fans. The event at Circle Centre Mall featured live music and giveaways.

Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman and team cheerleaders were also on hand to take pictures, sign autographs, and meet with fans.

Despite quarterback Andrew Luck being sidelined, Freeman remains optimistic about the team’s chances this season.

“We’re not too worried about (Luck.) He’s tough as nails,” Freeman said. “I know Hasselbeck’s gonna be in there. He’s been a great quarterback for awhile. He’s still has some life left in those legs and that arm, so we’re gonna be alright.”

After a bye last week, the Colts return to action Sunday in Atlanta against the Falcons.
