Company bringing new plant, 500+ jobs to Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) – Some big economic news came out of Anderson Tuesday morning.

NTN Driveshaft announced the company is bringing hundreds of jobs to the city.

Officials broke ground on a new 400,000-square-foot plant that will be built in the Flagship Industrial Park near Nestle.

Gov. Mike Pence was there for the ceremony.

The city of Anderson says the company plans to invest $87 million and hire more than 500 people.

NTN Corporation was established in Osaka, Japan, in 1918. It’s a global manufacturer of mechanical parts and equipment, such as bearings, drive shafts and production equipment.
