INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There is a free community block party and open house happening this Friday at the Athenaeum.

It’s called an ALL-IN Block Party and Indianapolis is one of 17 communities around Indiana hosting one.

The parties bring people together to participate in a series of challenges that encourage Hoosiers to try new experiences, learn more about Indiana and imagine ways to make the state even better.

Cassie Stockamp, the president of the Athenaeum Foundation, was on 24-Hour News 8 at noon Tuesday to talk more about the block party, which runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Athenaeum Foundation at 401 E. Michigan St.
