Riley kids design ornaments to help ailing children

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - There’s a great way to decorate for Christmas and help a worthy cause.

Three children, who are patients at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health, have each designed an ornament.

The exclusive ornaments are available for a limited time, with all proceeds benefiting “The Gift of Hope Happens Here” year-end giving campaign.

The campaign raises funds for thousands of families seeking help for seriously ill and injured children at Riley.

Iviee, a Riley kid and holiday ornament artist, Teresa Shaffer with Fifth Third Bank and Lucy Smith with the Indiana Blood Center were on 24-Hour News 8 at noon to talk about the campaign.
