INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – According to police, the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a semi on I-465 at State Road 67 just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Police say the vehicle was attempting merge into traffic on the interstate when it side-swiped a semi.

Officers on the scene say they believe speed and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol may have been factors in the crash.  However, they have not been confirmed as causes.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
