Joey, Rory Feek to put out new album despite cancer prognosis
MADISON COUNTY, Ind. – (WISH) – Indiana native country singers, Joey and Rory Feek are planning a new album, even though Joey is dying of cancer.
In a new blog post Rory Feek described a moment during this weekend’s snowfall. He says his wife was crying at the thought of their child growing up without her, when she saw the snow.
He says she told him “‘I didn’t think I’d get to see snow again… if this is the last snow I ever see, thank you Jesus… thank you.’”
In the blog post they also shared a new song – in a video of the snow.
Rory says he and another singer recorded harmony vocals this weekend. Joey recorded her vocals this summer after her first big surgery.
The blog says the album features hymns and is due out in February.
