INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police are investigating a shooting at a pub on the northwest side of the city early Friday morning.

It happened at JD’s Pub in the 6900 block of Eagle Highlands Way. This is near West 38th Street and Interstate 465.

Police first responded around 3 a.m. Officials say two people on the patio of the pub got into a fight over a woman. Those two people, and several others, then pulled out their guns.

Officials say two people were shot. It’s unclear if they were the individuals first involved in the fight or not.

“There were multiple guns used, of different and varying calibers,” IMPD Officer Christopher Wilburn said.

Both victims were listed in stable condition after the shooting.

Officers on scene found a number of vehicles damaged by gunfire.

24-Hour News 8 is learning that IMPD has responded to the club ten times in 2015 for theft, vandalism, and now, a shoot-out.

“I’m never coming back to this club,” said Alicia Grant, as she wrapped a plastic bag over her windows after bullets busted them in her car.

On Friday afternoon, JD’s Pub opened back up for lunch. A representative for the pub declined our request for an interview.

IMPD is taking tips in this case. You can call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477).
