Local author turns love of saving old homes into a novel

Saving pieces that others have tossed aside is sort of a life’s ambition for author Kurt Meyer. Kurt’s new novel, “The Salvage Man,” is inspired by his actual experiences dumpster-diving and salvaging historic architectural items from homes slated for demolition. He brings an assortment of salvaged items to our Indy Style studios that include ornate hardware, stained glass windows and more.
