2 dead infants found inside Richmond apartment

RICHMOND, Ind (WDTN) – Richmond police are investigating after two dead infants were found dead in an apartment on Monday.

Police and medics responded to Nine North Apartments on 200 North 9th Street before noon on Monday.

Medics found two unresponsive babies that were then taken to Reid Hospital, according to Richmond Police. They were pronounced dead and sent to the Montgomery County Coroner in Ohio for autopsies.

Police say there were no signs of trauma and did not release the identities of the victims.
