Health insurance costs up by 130 percent in last decade

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A major Angie’s List shareholder says he’s getting fed up. Also, Americans are paying a lot more for health insurance than just a few years ago.

Jane King was on Daybreak Tuesday and talked about these stories and other national and local business headlines.

Employees are paying 130 percent more for health insurance than a decade ago. Employees of midsize and large companies in 2015 paid an average of $4,700 for their health insurance. That’s up from $2,001 in 2005.
