Blossom Chevrolet hosts ‘Santa Paws Pet Adoption’ event

In this March 2012 photo provided by Dr. Pamela Fisher shows a mixed-breed dog named Lili sits in her kennel at Summit County Animal Control in Akron, Ohio. Lili gave Dr. Pamela Fisher a look that she says convinced her to adopt her, who is now 4. Fisher was at the shelter installing an MP3 player for her non-profit Rescue Animal MP3 Project, which plays dog-friendly and cat-friendly music so the dogs will stop barking and the animals will de-stress and relax. More than 1,100 shelters across the country have taken Fisher up on her offer and swear by the results. (Dr. Pamela Fisher via AP)

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The second annual “Santa Paws Pet Adoption” event is happening December 7 and it’s definitely the season for adopting.

Starting this Saturday through next Thursday at Blossom Chevrolet, owner Mike Chase will let animal rescues and animal shelters come to the dealership to set up booths for adoptable animals.

Chase says he will pay 100 percent of the adoption fee.

Patty Spitler and Sharra Ferbrache stopped by 24-Hour News 8 to talk about the event. Watch the video above to find out more.
