Cut gas main in Lebanon prompts evacuations
LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) – People in Lebanon were asked to avoid a busy street for several hours Thursday while crews worked to repair a cut gas main.
Emergency crews evacuated homes on Grant Street after the gas main was cut near Grant and Washington streets.
It happened around 11:15 a.m. Officials gave the all clear of the area around 2:30 p.m.
Residents who were evacuated were brought to a church on Washington and East streets.
No injuries were reported.
