Person shot on west side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials were called to the city’s west side Thursday morning to investigate after a person was shot.

Police were first called to the 3400 block of West Morris Street shortly after 3:45 a.m. This is just west of South Tibbs Avenue.

IMPD officials say aggravated assault detectives were called to investigate.

It’s unclear how badly the victim was hurt in the shooting.
