INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, one suspect has been arrested in connection to a shooting that left two women dead.

22-year-old Eric Horton was taken into police custody in Urbana, Illinois.

The deadly shooting happened late Saturday night in the 4100 block of East New York Street.

After arriving on scene, police soon discovered two female victims shot inside a home that functions as a halfway house.

The two victims have since been identified as India Barnes and Tomika Mack.

A candlelight vigil tonight for the victims of that deadly shooting.

Dozens of people came out Thursday night, still raw with pain.

Even though police made an arrest in the case, friends and family of the victims say it’s little comfort.
