Woman dies after crash involving deer

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — A woman who was hospitalized after a crash ended with a deer in the backseat of her vehicle has passed away.

The Republic reports at Amy Baker-Lark has passed away following the crash.

Barker-Lark had been hospitalized since the Nov. 19 crash before passing away on Wednesday.

The crash occurred in the 2700 block of West Carr Hill Road.

Her husband, who was a passenger in the vehicle, said after hitting the deer, it caused them to run off the road, hit a mailbox and run through a tree line.
