T-Mobile now America’s top wireless carrier
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Verizon is no longer America’s top wireless carrier.
According to Consumer Reports’ nationwide survey, T-Mobile now holds the number one spot.
It’s the fifth year of the survey, but this is the first time Verizon wasn’t ranked number one among the four major wireless carriers.
Here’s how they ranked:
- T-Mobile – 73 out of 100
- Verizon – 70 out of 100
- AT&T – 68 out of 100
- Sprint – 67 out of 100
The survey is based on Consumer Reports readers’ opinions about their experience with their carrier.
Readers ranked their carriers’ customer support, value, voice quality, texting services, web problems, and data speeds.
Another huge factor Consumer Reports reported is another reason T-Mobile took the number one spot is its “Uncarrier” promotions. They include free international roaming, data rollover, and streaming unlimited movies and music without taxing monthly data limits.
