SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Shelbyville are asking for help finding those involved in two different burglaries at a Major Hospital construction site.

According to police and employees at the hospital, the first incident happened at the Intelliplex construction site on Nov. 27. Police say when they arrived at the scene they noticed several items pilled up by the suspects. Luckily the suspects were scared off by the employee(s) coming in for work. However, a large amount of damage was done at the construction site.

The second happened on Aug. 29, also at the Intelliplex construction site, during that burglary items from the construction site were reported missing. Police believe that the suspects were again scared off by employees. Witnesses told police they believe they saw two men possibly driving a White Chevrolet 4×4 truck away from the site. It wasn’t clear what model year the truck was but witnesses believe it could be between 2013 to 2015.

Messer Construction and Major Hospital Partners are offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Anyone with information should contact Captain Bill Dwenger with the Shelbyville Police Department at 317-392-5118.
