INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Retirement is something most people look forward and for two horses that day has come.

That’s because two horses of the Indiana National Guard’s funeral unit have retired.

In order to recognize their years of service to Indiana and our country, a special ceremony was held.

Before their time in Indiana, the two Percheron Draft horses were members of a caission unit at Arlington National Cemetery.
