2 suspects flee after police chase ends in the mud

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis police are looking for two people after a chase involving a stolen car early Thursday morning.

Police say they tried to pull the car over at 71st Street and Georgetown Road on the northwest side of the city, but the driver took off.

Police say the chase ended less than two miles away. They say the driver turned into a construction zone near 71st Street and Interstate 465 where the car got stuck in mud.

Officers arrested the driver. Two other people in the car ran off.
