IMPD releases photos after deadly shooting Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a man was shot and killed on the city’s northwest side Sunday night.

The original call came into dispatch that shots had been fired a little after 8 p.m. in the 2400 block of Lafayette Road.

Police said a man was shot and confirmed dead at the scene. He has been identified as 31-year-old David Bowman of Speedway.

Early Monday morning, IMPD released photos of a woman in a gold Chevy Impala wanted in connection to the shooting.

According to information detectives gathered at the scene, the woman in the photos was seen getting into the gold Impala before the shooting.

Police say the gold Impala, which has dark-tinted windows and a spoiler, was last seen traveling northbound on Kessler Boulevard North Drive from the shooting location.
