Former teacher pleads guilty to child solicitation charges
ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) – A former teacher at an Anderson Christian school has plead guilty as part of a plea agreement on Monday.
60-year-old Patrick Porter turned himself in for child solicitation after police say he was having inappropriate electronic communication with a teenage girl at Liberty Christian School.
According to court documents, Porter will plead guilty to one count of child solicitation.
Porter turned himself into police on June 9 after an arrest warrant was issued the day before. The investigation began when the school received enough information to support the allegations against Porter.
Poter will be sentenced on Jan. 4 at 9 a.m.
