INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials believe the same man is responsible for two robberies on the city’s east side Monday morning.
Police say both of the robberies were armed. One happened around 9:30 a.m. in the 5000 block of East 16th Street. That was at a Family Dollar. The other happened near 21st Street and Arlington Avenue at a Dollar General.
According to IMPD, the suspect is described as a black male wearing all black clothing, armed with a handgun.
The man was reportedly still on the run as of 10 a.m.
