INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It is the busiest day of the holiday season for the United States Postal Service.
Tuesday is the deadline to guarantee cards and packages make it to their destinations by Christmas day via standard USPS shipping.
To accommodate the influx in letters and packages, the postal service is also doing seven-day delivery and opening select post offices on Sunday. Click here for a list of Indiana post offices open on Sunday.
It’s still possible to get letters and packages to their destinations by Christmas day through USPS. The deadline for First-Class Mail is Dec. 19, the deadline for Priority Mail is Dec. 21 and the deadline for Priority Mail Express is Dec. 23.
