INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One of the most common points of financial confusion this time of year relates to charitable giving.

Joe Clark a government relations director on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana and managing partner of Financial Enhancement Group stopped by 24-Hour News 8 at noon to share a few tips on how you can give to charity in a manner that benefits those in need, while also ensuring your gift is deductible.

He answered a few questions including, what kinds of charitable gifts are tax-deductible, can a person give to a family experiencing hard times and deduct the gift on their tax return and what the difference between tax-free gifts and tax-deductible gifts.
