Benton Central teacher and coach resigns
BENTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A Benton Central teacher and coach has resigned.
According to Benton Community School Corporation Superintendent Gregg Hoover, Tyler Rosenbarger turned in his resignation to the school board last month. He had been on administrative leave following an investigation by Indiana State Police.
Rosenbarger was both a teacher and the head baseball coach. The nature of the investigation is still unclear. Investigators told News 18 there was no victim involved, so there was no crime.
Hoover said Rosenbarger’s resignation ends all proceedings by the school.
